Various locations

The Kroger store chain (Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Foods Co, Dillons, etc) began selling gasoline at its supermarkets in 1998, and Kroger now tops all big box retailers with over 1170 supermarket fuel centers throughout their store network.

Since 2001, our firm has been involved in fuel facility planning and development at more than twenty locations throughout California, including:

  • Foods Co. facilities in Sacramento, Fresno (2), Bakersfield, and Santa Maria
  • Food 4 Less stores in Pomona, Riverside, Victorville, Colton, Coachella, Barstow, North Hills, and Los Angeles.
  • Ralphs locations in Rancho Cucamonga, Van Nuys, Point Loma, Eastvale, Murrieta, and Sun Valley

“Thank you for your continued relationship with the City of Coachella. your contribution of the Food 4 Less adds to our continued growth and vision.”

– Magdalena M. Zepeda
Councilmember, City of Coachella

Our design, entitlement, and permitting efforts on behalf of Kroger have provided a natural addition to the Kroger one-stop-shopping strategy through the introduction of high volume fuel facilities adjacent to established supermarket stores which enhance the customer buying experience through:

  • Customer convenience – providing gasoline and groceries at the same location
  • 24-hour fuel sales operations
  • Convenient and accessible fuel station locations
  • High quality, customer friendly facility design
  • Competitive fuel pricing

Fiedler Group’s successful relationship with the Kroger store network continues as design work for new locations in Fullerton, Oxnard, Perris, Bermuda Dunes, and Woodland HIlls are currently underway.
