New Highland Food 4 Less Fuel Station Opens

July 30th, 2019 by Fiedler Group

Earlier this month Food 4 Less opened its newest retail fuel station at 26529 Highland Ave, Highland.

Located at the intersection of Highland Ave. and Victoria Ave., about a mile south of San Manuel Casino, this new fuel station features 7 fuel dispensers under a 5,418 sq. ft. fueling canopy with a 173 sq. ft. kiosk, two underground storage tanks with associated fueling system components, underground stormwater infiltration system and extensive landscape refurbishment which included more than 30 new trees.

Architecturally, the station features an earth tone canopy and kiosk colors, stone tile veneer wainscots on both the kiosk and canopy columns, stucco finish on the kiosk walls and canopy columns, and ACM canopy and kiosk fascia with a cornice treatment.

Site improvements consisted of a new switchback access ramp serving Highland pedestrian traffic, a new ADS Stormtech Chamber underground infiltration system with a Contech in-line stormwater treatment unit, and water and sewer service laterals into Victoria Ave.

Fiedler Group provided all architectural, civil, structural, landscape, fuel, and electrical design required for the project development.

Entitlement processing and expedited permitting services provided by Fiedler Group included all of the site development permits from the City of Highland, San Bernardino County Fire (CUPA) and South Coast Air Quality Management.

Construction of this new fuel station was provided by Petro Builders.  The fuel canopy was supplied by Madison Industries, and the manufactured kiosk by Frey Moss.
