7-Eleven Opens 3 New Stores In The Los Angeles Market

Fiedler Group is excited to announce the opening of three new 7 Eleven stores located in the Greater Los Angeles Market area.

All three of these locations were interior tenant improvement projects in existing buildings.

The first store is located at 3280 Saviers Road @ Thomas Avenue in the City of Oxnard, CA and is a 2,465 square foot tenant improvement site. This location was an existing liquor store converted into a 7-Eleven franchisee location. The existing interior improvements were removed except for the walk-in cooler and completely replaced with the latest 7-Eleven standard interior finishes. All mechanical equipment was replaced to meet the needs of a successful location. Fiedler Group was responsible for the project management, architectural, MEP design, and the implementation of the owner selected interior décor package, as well as processing and obtaining approvals through the local government agencies including planning, building, and health approvals. The contractor for this project was C.E. Thomas Company based in Gardena, CA.

The second store recently opened is a 2,505 square foot space located at 501 West El Segundo Boulevard @ Figueroa Street in the City of Los Angeles, CA. This location was a building end-cap tenant improvement in a new building completed in 2014. 7-Eleven was the first tenant in this space. This location encountered some environmental challenges since the site is within a methane hazard area and Fiedler Group was responsible for coordinating the modification of the existing methane barrier and detection system caused by the new utility penetrations in the building slab. Fiedler Group was responsible for the project management, architectural, MEP design, and the implementation of the owner selected interior décor package, as well as processing and obtaining approvals through the local government agencies including planning, building, and health approvals. The contractor for this project was Gray Construction based in Anaheim, CA.

The third store is a 2,447 square foot stand-alone building located at 12801 Central Avenue @ El Segundo Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles, CA. This existing building was previously a fried chicken location and the interior of the building has numerous floor slopes and drains to address. Fiedler Group was responsible for the project management of this location. The contractor for this project was ASI Development based in the City of Huntington Beach, CA.

Fiedler Group has several another 7-Eleven projects in design and permitting, and another project currently under construction in The City of Los Angeles, CA scheduled to open in early December.
