Food 4 Less Opens New Fuel Station In Oxnard

February 28th, 2017 by Fiedler Group

Earlier this month, Food 4 Less opened yet another new retail fuel station – this one located in Oxnard at 190 W. Esplanade Dr.

The fuel station is part of the redeveloped Gateway Plaza set at the SW corner of Vineyard Ave. & West Esplanade Dr.

This 14.47 acre redevelopment included the demolition of a 117,534 sq. ft. Target building, and the construction of 159,954 sq., ft. of new retail shopping which featured a new 84,000 sq. ft. Food 4 Less grocery store and the new fuel station.

Architecturally, the station features 14 fueling positions under a 24’ x 194’ earth tone canopy.  The canopy and kiosk include split face block wainscots which complement the new retail development finishes .

As the fuel station design was occurring while the actual shopping center was under construction, significant design coordination was required with the shopping center design team during the various construction phases.

Fiedler Group provided all architectural, on-site civil, structural,  fuel, and electrical design required for the project development.

Permitting services provided by Fiedler Group included all building, grading and fire permits from the City, as well as APCD and Environmental Health approvals from the County of Ventura..

The new fuel station was constructed by Santa Fe Springs based Petro Builders Inc.
