Clean Energy Fuels

May 27th, 2013 by Fiedler Group

Nationwide

Across interstate highways and major metropolitan areas, a network of liquefied natural gas (LNG) truck fueling stations are being built by Clean Energy — America’s largest provider of natural gas fuel for transportation.

For heavy-duty vehicle applications — such as long-haul trucks — LNG is the most viable option for long-range use.

Clean Energy LNG highway
Since 2012, Clean Energy’s “American Natural Gas Highway” has expanded to over 90 facilities in 33 states, establishing the backbone of the “coast-to-coast, border-to-border” natural gas network.

The question of chicken or the egg, trucks or fueling facilities, has been answered.  The natural gas infrastructure is in place to meet the energy needs of the interstate trucking community.

Benefits of LNG fuel include:

  • Up to $1.50 per gallon savings
  • High-mileage truck cost payback less than a year
  • Lowers greenhouse gas emissions
  • Reduces dependence on imported oil
  • Creates jobs
  • Grows our economy
