Valley Pacific Petroleum Enhances Santa Maria Chevron Truck Stop

June 4th, 2013 by Fiedler Group

Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc (VPPS) is proud of its 60+ year association with Chevron.

Headquartered in Stockton, California, the company provides hundreds of thousands of bulk lubricant storage and distribution (nearly all Chevron-branded), operates 100 branded service stations and convenience stores (Chevron, Texaco, 76, Valero, and Spirit), and is a member of the CFN network operating 20 cardlock fueling sites.

Fiedler Group was chosen to assist VPPS in the two phase remodel of their Santa Maria Truck Stop convenience store and office building.

The first phase involved the complete demolition and remodeling of their deteriorated restrooms and shower facilities.

Once the restroom and shower facilities were reconstructed, VPPS launched Fiedler Group on the complete remodel of the existing convenience store operation. The removal of several administration and drivers work areas in the existing building allowed for the nearly 150% expansion of convenience store area.

The new 2700 square foot convenience store now features larger cooler storage and sales, new coffee and soda offerings, and a new wireless counter for customer use. Other features include new flooring, ceiling, an enlarged backroom, plus new convenience store cashier and truck cashier/sales work stations and counters.

Fiedler Group provided all architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural design services for both remodel phases for this project. B&T Maintenance provided the general contracting services for the convenience store expansion.

Today, this Chevron branded truck stop is providing its customers with greatly enhanced amenities and is experiencing significant sales growth as a result of the facility improvements.
