Sendero Marketplace Welcomes New Chevron Service Station

January 18th, 2018 by Fiedler Group

Last month Sendero Marketplace, a 98,000 square-foot neighborhood commercial center located on 16.65 acres located in Rancho Mission Viejo welcomed its most recent retail partner – Moller Investment Groups’ new Chevron service station and convenience store.

Located at 30801 Gateway Place, in the western most area of Rancho Mission Viejo, Moller Investment Groups’ new station and convenience store is strategically located within the Sendero Marketplace which serves as a double “gateway,” to the community – providing an entrance experience to both the San Juan Valley and Rancho Mission Viejo.

The fuel canopy and convenience store were designed to complement the marketplace “Farmhouse Progressive” architectural style, with related building forms and details which were chosen to reflect the historical cultural and values of Rancho Mission Viejo.

“Sendero Marketplace is an exciting new addition to Rancho Mission Viejo! These new options to shop and dine bring a new level of convenience to residents that are sure to enhance life on The Ranch,” said Nadine Corrigan, Vice President of Marketing for Rancho Mission Viejo, LLC. “With the recent grand opening of the new NorthWalk Neighborhoods at Esencia, combined with the grand opening of Sendero Marketplace, it is an exciting time for current and future Ranch residents.”

Moller Investment Group’s contribution to the new marketplace is a 2,600 sq. ft. convenience store, with a 3,500 sq. ft., 10 column fuel island canopy and 10 dispensers offering three grades of gasoline, diesel and E85. Other site amenities include propane dispensing and two trellis covered outdoor patios areas.

Fiedler Group’s design services for this project included all building and site design including civil, architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structure and fuel design. Permit expediting services provided by Fiedler Group included submittal and acquisition of Design Review approval, and processing with all applicable County, City and SCAQMD jurisdictional authorities.

The general contractor for this project was Anaheim based RD Builders and the canopy was provided by Madison Industries.
